It's close now as Chelski slip up

I thought they would win last night but i was hopeful that Everton would either take a point or beat them on Thursday. Of course if the blue half of scouseland do get something it will be virtually all over. And with the semi against Barca to come, Chelski couldn't have timed it better to stutter.

The last two seasons have seen him start to look the player who we thought we were signing. Having Vidic at the side of him has definitely helped bring out the best in him, but he is definitely the main man at the back. And has been absolutely outstanding this season.

I was surprised when Mark Chilton gave up the captaincy of Lancashire last season, mainly because i wasn't too sure that he would get into the team as a batsmen alone. When he first made into the first eleven he looked like he might follow John Crawley as very handy number three with a good technique. But he has never really progressed and but for having the captaincy his average would surely have already seen him slip out of the first team. With the strength of the squad at Old Trafford he has a job on his hands to get back into the team.

Italy votes for Berlusconi again, Prodi must have been a dire leader. Or the Italians don't want to face reality still.
