United will not appeal against Evra's ban, disappointing, obviously they have been told there is no chance of overturning the decision.

What a superb book that is.

I finished Craig Murray's superb book a couple of weeks ago about his period as British ambassador to Uzbekistan. It's a great read and shows up what a complete shower Blair , Sraw et al all are. This is the kind of thing that went on there during Craig Murray's time and unfortunately still does.

It was one of the business cronies of Karimov who has been trying to buy into Arsenal. If Usmanov ever set foot into a british football clubs boardroon we might as well all give up.
