No nearer finding Giggs successor

According to Andy Hunter in the guardian

There is no argument from me there. In fact we haven't really found a successor for Scholes either. It was always going to be a big task and though Carrick has done well and is a quality player he is not really a like for like replacement for Scholes. As for Giggs we are absolutely nowhere near finding his replacement. We are really lucky they have both kept going and not been too unlucky with injuries. There isn't much more i can say about Nani, he has obvious talent, but he doesn't appear to have much of a football brain. The amount of times Rooney ended up shaking his head with arms outstretched looking in Nani's direction in the first half on Saturday told me his number was probably up at half time. He just doesn't seem to know the right time to do anything apart from shoot when he gets the chance. He has a great shot but that doesn't begin to make up fro the rest of his game.

I don't believe that

The man himself thinks he is playing better than ever, i would say more consistently than ever. It is probably easier to be consistent in the middle of the park than on the wing though.
