Now where have we heard that before

Keith Harris seems to have got under his skin. I aint that keen on him myself but i just hope he his just a mouth piece for the bid. And the Glazer's still have Fergie's backing according to " debt is the road to ruin man " Gill. That could end up being the £ billion dollar question at the end of the day. In which case my confidence would not be as high.

When O'Neill attacked the Glazer's ownership model of the club back after the bond prospectus came out it annoyed the gimps so much the complained in person to Goldman Sachs. Unlike Manchester United ( just for now hopefully ) it is a democracy out here you know chaps.

The guardian report that the red knights have been in touch with wealthy foreign backers something i'm not too comfortable with to be honest. I certainly don't like talk of sugar daddies, sack that man or shut him up.

I'm not sure about this, the average supporter doesn't have anything like a spare £2,500 knocking about. Maybe they just want anybody that has to join in.
United fans are leading the way and maybe pointing to the future, we are not powerless at all.

I admit that they may not turn out to be what we hoped, but from we do know about them, there is just absolutely no chance they can be worse than the scum that are raping the club at the moment, no way.
Meanwhile on the playing side, remember that, Owen says he doesn't want to leave. He would rather be a back up squad member at United than be a regular elsewhere. He really didn't like his time at Newcastle did he.

Hamish M'cRae warns the goverment or goverment to be to resist any big changes at the BBC, one of the few world class institutions left in this country. Unfortunately we all know that the tories are dancing to Rpupert's tune and he will expect his pound of flesh, and if they win he will get it.

Red knights hold first meeting
Well it's a start, this looks for real when you look at the people and the institutions involved.

The Times reports that one of the group's main figures Jim O'Neill of Goldman Sachs has close ties to Fergie. He was on the United board at the time of the takeover and one of the gimps first acts was to get rid of him.

Milner complains about Wembley pitch and compares unfavourably with lower league pitches. I watched the game on Sunday and straight away you saw how terrible the playing surface was and yet none of the commentators or pundits mentioned it once, unreal. So well done James Milner, i suppose.

Even the suits are aghast at the BBC's decision.
Music
Charles Mingus - Let my children hear my music: I haven't heard too much of Mingus, but what i've heard didn't prepare me for this. Definitely not easy listening but give it time and it turns out to be superb. The arrangements and playing are absolutely up there. I can see why this is supposed to be his favourite album.
Cornershop - Judy sucks a lemon for breakfast: I haven't heard these for years, but this carries on nicely from the last time i did.
Rilo Kiley - Under the blacklight: I enjoyed this piece of Californian indie pop. A lot of catchy hooks get you hooked after just a couple of listens.
RJD2 - Deadringer: I had read this guy compared to DJ Shadow before i listened to this and it's a good comparison and it doesn't flater him.
The phoenix foundation - Happy ending: The first track sounds like mid 90's Pulp but their own sound takes over as the latest album from the New Zealand outfit continues. It's not bad though it never really took off for me.
Ween - La Cucaracha: Where as i love the last studio album by US indie oufit Ween. You never really know what genre of music is coming next, reggae, pop, rock it's all there and it's all done well.
