Anderson's not optimistic about his United future. If that means he will be on his way in the summer, then that can only be a good thing as that midfield needs strengthening, big time.

Black boots for the kids, tradition strikes back.

Beats me, why you would want to wear anything other than black to be honest.

Tevez not happy with City's insensivity to his time off, and seems to not think a lot of Mancini. Oh dear it doesn't look like a happy ship at the boo camp. Great work Gary Cook, keep it up.

The MEN staff seem pretty bitter at their treatment by their ex GMG colleagues. I don't think too much of the evening news, but there doesn't seem to be much of the Manchester left in the Guardian these days.

Dominic Lawson warns Cameron that this will be an election to lose. I would go along with that, he won't be able to take the right with him that's for sure. He also makes the point that most Tory commentators seem to forget, namely that though they now blame Brown for the economic mess that we are in. they went along with every last bit of it. Though of course when Brown was faced with the consequences of his action he was grudgingly dragged kicking and screamoing to take the right actions, nationalising the banks etc. Here of course "boy George" Osborne got almost every decision wrong.
