The Indie's match report that manages to remark on red footballs financial results, not many papers have reported them disappointingly.

Nani to be fined by United after his moment of stupidity on Saturday

One of the things i have found hard to understand over the last few weeks is why Anderson hasn't started many games and what has puzzled me even more is why he hasn't been coming on as a sub even. I watched the Barca game again over the weekend and it confirmed to me that my opinion that Nani had another poor match was spot on. If United are going to play 4-3-3 surely that is a position that Anderson should be able to fill more than adequately. It would have been nice if he could have been given a run out in that position as a sub over the last 2 or 3 weeks. If the worst happens and Rooney doesn't make Moscow i can't say i am that confident that Nani will step up to the plate. He has the talent, but he seems to have no instinct whatsoever for knowing when to release the ball at the right time. We made a couple of great counter attacks at the bridge where if Nani had released the ball when he should have done we would have created 2 great chances. I would hate to see the same thing happen in the biggest game of the season. Whilst Anderson doesn't always thread the ball through successfully he does always see the killer pass when it is on. If Rooney doesn't make the Wigan game i would like to see Anderson get the nod for this position.
Alan Smith praises " El Apache " Tevez, and he is right he has been absolutely outstanding over the last few games.

A nice gesture that surely has nothing to do with the family that has the FBI trawling around Old Trafford.
