I have read commentators warn that there will a war or wars fought over water supplies in the 21st century. US giant General electric warn that after the surge in oil prices, water is next in line to surge in cost. The imbalances in the world economy are really going to come home to roost in the not too distant future. Neo liberal economics aren't going to solve this.

English cricket seems to be fumbling it's way to big changes as city now clubs seem to be one way forward for the English version of the IPL 20 over game. I don't see how they are going to continue to stop England players going to India for the money if they are offered the chance.
