The ginger prince

Daniel Taylor describes Paul Scholes as a true great. No arguments from me, he certainly is amongst the very best players to have ever worn the red of Manchester United. I have just watched the season review from the 2002-03 season, and if we think he is good now, we forget how good when he would pop up with goals all season long. Shots from outside the box, headers, tap ins and finishes arriving late. And then you think how he has adapted his game to now controlling games from the centre of the park. To me one of the signs of a truly great player is the ability to adapt your game and just like Giggs he has done that majestically. He is up there with Eric as my favourite ever United player.

David Lacey thinks catching up to Liverpools record of 5 European cups is what keeps Fergie going not attaining that record 19th title. If that is the case he must be absolutely sick, because we were given a great chance to get to a third final onthe trot with the draw we were given this season. But he must know that if we had got either Inter or Barca we would surely have struggled.

James Lawton thinks Liverpool will stick with the tradition of Bill Shankly and give their all tomorrow regardless of the fact that if they get a result it could hand us a 19th title. The probably will give their all, i just can't see that being good enough i'm afraid. Our only hope is that Chelsea show the nerves that they have being playing with away form home. Fingers crossed.

Unsurprisingly most proper Liverpool fans would sooner get beat tomorrow if it means we don't win that historic 19th title. As much as i hate them, i can't blame them, if the boot was on the other foot i would feel exactly the same.

The Guardian backs the lib dems. I don't know why i'm surprised as the lib dems are obviously the most progressive party contesting this election. But when you read the crap that Polly Toynbee has come out with recently, you'll know why.
